FAQs

    • Never wear your beaded jewellery when showering or swimming. Take care to not let it get wet!

    • Slide magnetic clasps to open them. Do not pull them apart.

    • Miyuki delicas are generally durable, but some colours can fade in the sun or rub off. To avoid this, don’t store or leave beaded jewellery in areas of direct sunlight.

    • Generally, treat your beaded jewellery with gentle care and proper storage to preserve its beauty for as long as possible.

  • I will indicate, whenever possible, what metals are used in my jewellery findings. However, because some of the materials I use are old stock from my mother’s collection, I am not always 100% certain of their composition. If you have a metal allergy, I recommend only purchasing items where I am able to guarantee the metal content.

I use a mixture of 925 sterling silver, gold fill (which is a layer of gold over base metals like brass or copper and has a higher gold content than gold plate), and cheaper base metals. I also may use gold vermeil, which is a thick layer of gold over sterling silver.

If you have any questions about the materials I use, please contact me!

  • Anywhere in New Zealand.

I hope to have International Shipping set up soon! Please contact me if you are interested.

  • Shipping is a flat rate of $8 around New Zealand.

  • I use either recycled or compostable bags and recycled materials for wrapping and packaging so your parcel may appear a bit random!

  • Because I don’t do this full time, shipping may take a couple days to organise. I’ll make sure to communicate with you regarding shipping times!

  • Sorry, I can only process returns if the piece is damaged or faulty. In such cases, please email me within 5 days of receiving the item with a description and/or photo of the issue. The piece must be returned within 10 days of delivery for a refund.

I can also potentially fix damaged or broken pieces returned within the first 10 days free of charge or issue a refund.

I’m just a part-time, one-woman operation so unfortunately do not have the capacity to process returns and refunds for changes of mind.

  • Yes—but only during limited times. My life can get very busy with my studies so I am unable to make custom pieces outside of my University holidays.

If you see a design you like in my shop but want it in a different colour or need a different bracelet length, etc., email me at nahoko.designs@gmail.com and I can provide a quote and time frame for completion.
